Our policies that address abdominoplasty, panniculectomy, abdominal lipectomy, and other excisions of redundant skin were recently reviewed as part of our routine policy process. For ease of use, these policies will now be combined into one policy: Medical Policy #11.08.06h: Panniculectomy, Abdominoplasty, and Other Excisions of Redundant Skin, which was posted as a Notification on June 7, 2017, and will go into effect July 7, 2017.

Note: This combined-topic policy will replace the individual policies that address abdominoplasty, panniculectomy, and other excisions of redundant skin.
