The payer ID grids contain valuable information to assist you in claims
submission, including alpha prefixes, payer information, and claims mailing
addresses by product.
As previously communicated, a new mailing address for paper claims
submissions goes into effect on December 1, 2016. However, we recommend you
start using it as soon as possible to avoid any potential delays in claims
processing.
The professional and facility payer ID grids have been updated to reflect
this change. Please be sure to download the most current versions, which are
available on our websites as follows:
- AmeriHealth New Jersey. Go to the Provider Forms web page.
Under Claims Requirements and Communications, select either Facility Payer
ID Provider Number Reference or Professional Payer ID Provider Number
Reference.
- AmeriHealth Pennsylvania. Go to the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) web page. Under EDI
Resources, select either Facility Payer ID or Professional Payer
ID.
