NaviNet and AmeriHealth are receiving a number of inquiries related to Medical/Surgical and Chemotherapy/Infusion authorization requests. When initiating either of these requests through NaviNet, please follow these steps: Select the appropriate group and location from the Facility/Admitting Physician drop-down menu. The individual physician name is no longer required.Enter the member's complete identification number (including alpha prefix). Member name and date of birth are optional fields.Enter a date of service. Medical/Surgical requests can be dated retroactively up to two days from the current date, or up to 180 days into the future.For more information regarding NaviNet transactions, please refer to the
