ICD-10 final rule released: October 1, 2015, is the new compliance deadline

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has confirmed in a final rule that October 1, 2015, will be the compliance deadline for the implementation of ICD-10. The final rule requires the continued use of ICD-9 through September 30, 2015.

AmeriHealth is reassessing our external testing schedule, which will resume toward the end of 2014. We continue to ensure that our organization is fully compliant and ready to meet the new compliance date for ICD-10.
