Updates to Direct Ship Drug Program list

April 4, 2019

The AmeriHealth Direct Ship Drug Program is a service that allows our network providers to order select office-based drugs eligible for coverage under the medical benefit without paying an additional fee. AmeriHealth works directly with our specialty drug vendors to handle processing, payment, and delivery.

Direct ship drug list updates

We have updated the list of drugs available through the Direct Ship Drug Program to include the following:

  • Aristada Initio® (aripiprazole lauroxil)
  • FulphilaTM (pegfilgrastim-jmdb)
  • LuxturnaTM (voretigene neparvovec-rzyl)
  • NivestymTM (filgrastim-aafi)
  • SublocadeTM (buprenorphine extended-release)
  • UdenycaTM (pegfilgrastim-cbqv)

In addition, the drug Arcalyst® (rilonacept) has been removed from the Direct Ship Drug Program, as it is now only available under the pharmacy benefit.
