Starting in 2013, AmeriHealth began to implementchanges to the NaviNet web portal that were intendedto streamline processes to make doing business withAmeriHealth more efficient. Participating providers likelyhave noticed a difference in the look and functionality ofthe provider portal.
Recap of transaction changes
Some functions that saw significant changes in 2013include:
- referrals and authorizations
- eligibility and benefits
- encounters
- claims inquiry/investigation (formerly claims INFO)
- capitation rosters

Westrongly encourage providers to review these resourcesto become familiar with new or updated transactions.
