Recent NaviNet changes and new user guides/webinars available

Starting in 2013, AmeriHealth began to implementchanges to the NaviNet web portal that were intendedto streamline processes to make doing business withAmeriHealth more efficient. Participating providers likelyhave noticed a difference in the look and functionality ofthe provider portal.

Recap of transaction changes

Some functions that saw significant changes in 2013include:

  • referrals and authorizations
  • eligibility and benefits
  • encounters
  • claims inquiry/investigation (formerly claims INFO)
  • capitation rosters
More changes are scheduled for 2014, and we willcommunicate more about them in future editionsof Partners in Health Update as information becomesavailable.

Resources available to providers

Given the significant number of changes implemented,we have published several detailed user guides andinstructional webinars to the NaviNet Transaction Changessection of our System and Process Changes site. Westrongly encourage providers to review these resourcesto become familiar with new or updated transactions.
