Coming soon: New Provider Automated System

The NaviNet® web portal, our secure, online provider portal, gives you and your office staff access to critical administrative and clinical data. We encourage you to use NaviNet to access benefits, claims, and eligibility information for AmeriHealth members. However, on December 1, 2015, AmeriHealth is introducing a new Provider Automated System to help providers obtain critical information when they are unable to access NaviNet. The Provider Automated System will enable providers to access the following information:
  • Benefits. Verify copay, coinsurance, and deductible information.
  • Claims. Obtain paid status, claim denial reasons, paid amount, and member responsibility information.
  • Eligibility. Check coverage status, effective dates, and group name information.
  • Authorizations and referrals. These functions are not available for self-service ? calls will be directed to a Customer Service representative for further assistance.
Note: You will need to have your NPI or tax ID number, as well as the member's information, ready in order to complete the transactions listed above. The Provider Automated System will be available starting December 1, 2015, by calling Customer Service at 1-888-YOUR-AH1 (1-888-968-7241) for AmeriHealth New Jersey and 1-800-275-2583 for AmeriHealth Pennsylvania.
