As of August 10, 2018, the drug OnpattroTM
(patisiran) requires precertification for all AmeriHealth Pennsylvania
members.
We are in the process of creating a new medical policy for Onpattro. In the
interim, requests for this drug will be evaluated in accordance with the
manufacturer's prescribing information and the U.S. Food and Drug
Administration labeling.
