Upcoming enhancement to the NaviNet® Authorizations transaction

November 14, 2017

[

Effective November 18, 2017, the Authorizations transaction on the NaviNet web portal will be enhanced to include a new 30-day date range for authorizations for outpatient procedures and office visits, based on feedback from providers.

30-day date range

Authorizations for outpatient procedures and office visits will be valid for 30 days from the date of the scheduled procedure. You will see the date range for the validity of the authorization in the Service Dates field. If there is a change in the date of the requested procedure within the 30-day range, it is not necessary to contact the Health Resource Center to update our system with the revised service date.
