As of April 1, 2020, AmeriHealth added Revenue Code 0892 Special Processed Drugs – FDA Approved Genetic Therapy to the list of revenue codes that require a Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) or Current Procedural Terminology (CPT ^®) code when billing. This code must be submitted with a valid, corresponding CPT/HCPCS code on the claim line when submitting claims.
