As required by New Jersey state law, AmeriHealth New Jersey providers have 72 hours to submit required records and documentation for authorization requests that have been pended. This requirement applies to both emergent and non-urgent requests.

If the requested information is not submitted within 72 hours, the request will be considered withdrawn and cancelled. Providers would then have the option to resubmit the request.
