For dates of service on or after July 18, 2022, AmeriHealth and AmeriHealth Administrators are making changes to the Medical Policy regarding wheelchair options and accessories.
Criteria have been added to include the following items as a Benefit Contract Exclusion for Commercial members:
- Transit system and related components
- Memory seat program power option
Additionally, new reimbursement criteria have been added regarding face-to-face encounters.
