Effective July 1, 2023, AmeriHealth HMO, Inc, AmeriHealth Insurance Company of New Jersey, and AmeriHealth Administrators will update their medical policy on cosmetic procedures for Commercial members.

The company's coverage position for injectable dermal fillers (e.g., Sculptra^®, Radiesse^®) will change from potentially cosmetic to always cosmetic. Services that are cosmetic are a benefit contract exclusion for all products of the company. Therefore, they are not eligible for reimbursement consideration.
