Independence Medicare Advantage members can earn rewards for taking care of their health through the Independence health rewards program. Members received direct mail regarding the program. The flyers list their eligible activities, ways to redeem gift cards, and available reward amounts.
Signing up for Independence health rewards is easy! Members can activate their account by visiting the health rewards section on ibx.com and following the instructions in the
user guide or calling our vendor for this program, New Ocean Health Solutions at
1-877-268-3646, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
How it works
When an Independence Medicare Advantage member completes a recommended health care activity, he or she can confirm completion by:

ibx.com online portal;

The member will be issued a gift card of his or her choice, and it will arrive at the address on file within 2 – 4 weeks by mail.* Members may also opt for an e-gift card.
Eligible activities are individualized to each member and disclosed once they sign up for the program. Members may complete activities from January through December 2021 and attest through either channel (i.e., call center or electronically) beginning May 2021.
Examples of activities that may be available include:
