Be prepared for provider authentication when contacting Provider Services

​To ensure the privacy and security of our providers, we ask that you have the following information on hand when calling Independence Blue Cross:

  • Provider NPI
  • Physical address associated with the given NPI
  • Telephone number associated with the given NPI

This information will help us authenticate the provider organization or office that is calling so we can more quickly assist you.​
