​Effective April 1, 2026, all Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for Independence Blue Cross (IBX) and Independence Administrators members will be managed by the IBX Care Management team instead of Magellan Healthcare, Inc. (Magellan).

For all requests with a date of service on or after April 1, 2026, providers must use the new ABA prior authorization form.

What's new for ABA providers?

• As of April 1, 2026, you must use the ABA prior authorization forms (find them under “Forms for providers") to submit requests.
• Fax the completed form and all supporting documents to 215-238-2500.

• Independence Administrators: 1-800-778-2119

Note: The Provider Manual will be updated to reflect this change and will provide additional information about ABA services.
