​Beginning August 18, 2025, the Utilization Management department at Independence Blue Cross (IBX) and Independence Administrators will use the 2025 InterQual® Criteria for review of Adult Acute Care, Pediatric Acute Care, Long-term Acute Care, Acute Rehabilitation, Home Care, and selected Inpatient Procedures.

Independence Administrators will also use the 2025 InterQual® Criteria for Imaging.

In addition, IBX and Independence Administrators will begin using the 2025 InterQual® Criteria Behavioral Health Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry criteria and the Behavioral Health Child and Adolescent Psychiatry criteria.
