Quarterly Reminder
Independence Blue Cross (IBX) and Independence Administrators provide frequent updates to all medical policies, which will continue to be announced via our Provider News Center. These announcements will include links to the newest version of an updated policy at the time of posting. As policies may change over time, any links to those outdated policies found in older news articles may expire and become unusable.
To quickly find and access the most updated version of any specific policy, you can use the following options on the
Medical and Claim Payment Policy Portal:

View all
Commercial Policy Bulletins and/or
Medicare Advantage Policy Bulletins. From there, you can find policies in alphabetical order, or view by a specific category (i.e., DME, Radiology, etc.).

Use the search bar option to enter a
policy name (e.g., Compression Garments),
policy number (e.g., 05.00.37 or MA05.045), or
keyword (e.g., Compression).
To see specific policy changes, click on the policy name and scroll down to Policy History.
