​When registering with PNC Healthcare (powered by ECHO Health) to receive an 835 – Health Care Claim Payment/Advice (ERA), be sure to enter payer code: 54704.

This code should be used regardless of the Independence Blue Cross plans or products you support. If you work with a Trading Partner, please ensure they are using 54704 when registering for 835s for your organization.

Submitting 835/ERA changes

Changes to your 835/ERA enrollment information should be submitted to PNC Healthcare via the EFT and ERA Enrollment Form in addition to the existing channels and appropriate vendor platforms. Please work with your Trading Partner, if applicable, to discuss any necessary changes.
