Member Wellness Guidelines are a user-friendly version
of evidenced-based wellness recommendations for the
average-risk person. We encourage you to review these
recommendations with your Independence patients to
determine which screenings would be appropriate based
on specific patient medical and psychosocial needs.
Wellness guidelines are available for the following age groups:
- Pediatric guidelines (ages birth to 17)
- Adult guidelines ages 18 ? 64
- Adult guidelines ages 65 and older

with Preventive Care Benefits as provided under the
Affordable Care Act. These recommendations are not a statement of benefits and
some of these services may require
