Ensure proper routing of CFID audit questions

Effective December 2, 2019, the Provider Audit Inquiries email box will no longer be operational. Independence’s Corporate and Financial Investigations Department (CFID) will no longer respond to claim and audit inquiries submitted to providerauditinquiries@ibx.com.

If providers have questions or concerns regarding specific audit communications, they should contact the CFID auditor listed on the audit communication.

If you would like to check the status of a claim or submit a claim review request, please use the Claim Status Inquiry transaction on the NaviNet® web portal (NaviNet Open). If you need assistance in using the transaction please review the Claim Status Inquiry Guide, which can be found under User guides and webinars in the NaviNet Open section.
