This week, Independence launched the Celebrate Caring: Nominate a Nurse campaign to recognize nurses and the extraordinary contributions they make to our members and community.

Now through April 5, you can visit ibx.com/nurses to submit a story about a nurse who goes above and beyond the call of duty. From your submissions, Independence will choose three nurses who will be honored during National Nurse Week, which runs from May 6 – 12. The winning prizes include gift certificates, sporting event and concert tickets, a pop-up “thank you” event, and the ability to designate $1,500 to a charity.

Throughout the campaign, Independence will share stories about nurses through social media posts, videos, blogs, and more on ibx.com/nurses and in conjunction with media partners 6abc, iHeartRadio, and Philly.com.
