Software update for e-prescriptions

On October 1, 2016, an update will be made to the Surescripts® directory used for e-prescribing. All FutureScripts® messages should be sent to the new FutureScripts Home Delivery listing: NCPDP ID 1489916.

As with any directory update, it is important that your technology vendors update their respective directories to ensure that you have the most current and accurate information. Additionally, you will need to update any favorites you may have saved locally. If a new prescription is misrouted, it can cause potential patient impact and delay in care.

FutureScripts will also be sending out messaging about this update. If you have any questions, please contact your technology vendor or call FutureScripts Customer Service at 1-888-678-7012.
