We recently concluded our Provider Engagement Analytics and Reporting (PEAR) portal webinars with primary care practices (those with a panel size greater than 50). In addition, deployment to our health systems with owned practices was coordinated over the last few months and is nearly complete. We are looking to continue our deployment efforts to the rest of the provider network.
The PEAR portal will provide fast, secure web access to applications designed to help you manage your clinical and certain financial activities. In addition, it will be a vehicle for you to obtain a variety of health plan information specific to your provider organization as it relates to providing care for Independence membership. The first PEAR portal application being introduced is a new provider reporting tool, IndexProTM.
Registration process
If your practice did not attend one of the webinar sessions on how to register for the PEAR portal, we have created a dedicated
PEAR portal webpage that includes registration instructions.
If you have already registered or started the enrollment process, you can access instructions on how to contact us in the event you have questions or issues using the applications available via the PEAR portal.
About IndexPro
IndexPro is an online, self-service, and on-demand reporting tool for participating providers. It delivers access to timely data, including clinical care gaps (e.g., colorectal cancer screening, mammography, diabetic care, etc.), and actionable incentive program reports, delivered through a secure connection. IndexPro offers a centralized site for providers to review and compare their performance to their peers of the same specialty and identify opportunities for improvement. It provides a variety of practice-level reports and dashboards to show a real-time view of data specific to your practice or entity. These initial reports are applicable to those participating primary care practices with a panel size greater than 50.
Report delivery method changes
Independence will be transitioning all reports currently distributed via direct mail or accessible via the Document Exchange feature of the NaviNet® web portal (NaviNet Open) to IndexPro. IndexPro will become the only delivery method for provider reporting. Therefore, access to PEAR portal is essential.
For those providers who participate in a value-based incentive program, access to IndexPro via the PEAR portal is required.
