Independence is excited to announce an updated Medical and Claim Payment Policy Portal for our medical and claim payment policy documents available at ibx.com.

The enhanced website, coming in the next few weeks, will have a fresh look while retaining the functionality of the current portal.
The updated portal is optimized for use with the Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers.

Independence is introducing a redesigned Medicare Advantage PPO Host (MA PPO Host) Policy page. This page has been streamlined to provide direct links to:

• the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Medicare Coverage Database.
• Independence reimbursement policies applicable to enrollees from other Blue’s Medicare Advantage PPO plans who obtain health care services within the 5-county Philadelphia service area.
