Our Medicare Advantage plan earns high Star Rating for 2021​

​The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued their annual “report card" to all Medicare Advantage plans through the Star Rating System. For 2021, Independence's Keystone 65 HMO plan received 4 Stars.

The CMS Star Ratings compare Medicare Advantage plans on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest. The ratings reveal which plans are likely to deliver the most overall quality based on several measures, including members' access to care, member satisfaction, the plan's responsiveness, quality of care, customer service, and more.

The Star Rating System provides valuable information to help members choose the right plan for them — just like how restaurant reviews help you choose a place to eat. Enrollees can access Star Ratings on the CMS consumer website and compare plans from different insurers.
