Independence recently announced a new collaboration with Quartet Health, Inc. (Quartet), an independent health care technology and services company. The collaboration is a whole person health initiative that addresses behavioral health conditions magnified by the COVID-19 pandemic by bringing Quartet to Southeastern Pennsylvania.
Through Quartet's secure and virtual platform, providers will be able to easily screen and refer patients for behavioral health care that matches their clinical needs, personal preferences, and insurance coverage. Independence fully insured members who are ages 18 and older with a Commercial plan can also be referred to Quartet by an Independence Registered Nurse Health Coach. In the future, members will be able to sign up for care through the platform on their own.
Working with Quartet
Through Quartet's SmartMatch technology, providers will be able to easily refer and connect their patients to:
- in-person therapy and psychiatry services
- teletherapy and telepsychiatry services
The member's behavioral health care will be coordinated with the referring doctor so all the patient's care – physical and behavioral – is connected.
