​Effective January 1, 2022, Credence Blue Cross^® Blue Shield^® (Credence BCBS) will be offered to Alabama National Accounts with groups that have significant membership outside of the state of Alabama.

Credence BCBS is a new, geographically neutral experience available to these specific National Account groups. This is not a change to the member's current insurance, but an enhanced experience from Blue Cross and Blue Shield. With Credence, members will maintain access to their current network.

For groups that migrate to the Credence BCBS brand, their members will carry a Credence branded ID card.
