Updated Colorectal Cancer Screening Preventive Coverage

​Colorectal cancer screening will be covered as a preventive service starting at age 45, effective September 1, 2021, for members enrolled in Independence commercial products. This change is in response to the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force's updated colorectal cancer screening recommendation released on May 18, 2021.
