​​​Now in effect: Updated proton beam radiation therapy policy​

​Effective July 5, 2022, Independence Administrators has updated its medical policy on proton beam radiation therapy.

The coverage position for postoperative prostate cancer has changed from Experimental/Investigational to Not Medically Necessary.
