​Effective July 18, 2022, Independence Blue Cross and Independence Administrators have updated the medical policies on Power Wheelchairs (PWCs), Power-Operated Vehicles (POVs), and Push-Rim-Activated Power-Assist Devices for its Commercial and Medicare Advantage Members.

Face-to-face requirement language has been added for HCPCS code E0986.
