​​COVID-19: Suspension of timely filing requirements extended​​

​Guidance issued by the federal government requires the suspension of timely filing requirements for up to one year during the federal Public Health Emergency (PHE). The PHE is currently in effect and has now been extended through October 13, 2022.

Independence Blue Cross (Independence) will be reprocessing claims that are affected by this guidance. Please note that there are some exceptions to this guidance.

No action is required by Independence providers at this time.
