Effective August 29, 2022, Independence Blue Cross and Independence Administrators have updated their medical policy on home health care services for both Commercial and Medicare Advantage members.
The following billing requirement has been added to the policy:
- Modifier CO and CQ must be used to report services performed by an occupational therapy assistant or physical therapy assistant.
