​Change in medical policy for high-technology radiology services​

​Effective April 9, 2023, Independence Blue Cross and Independence Administrators updated their medical policy on high-technology radiology services for Commercial and Medicare Advantage members.

Carelon Medical Benefits Management (formerly AIM Specialty Health®) has revised their clinical appropriateness guidelines for advanced imaging regarding the brain, head and neck, chest, abdomen/pelvis, oncologic, and heart.
