Independence Blue Cross (Independence) will select three nurses from among those nominated for the company's Celebrate Caring Campaign; deadline for submissions is March 12.
Since 2018, Independence has recognized nearly 50 nurses through the Celebrate Caring campaign. We know what an important role nurses play in our region's health care, and we're honored to continue shining a light on their outstanding work. Help us find this year's group of winners and finalists!
Celebrate Caring winners will receive exciting prizes like a $2,500 donation to a nonprofit of their choice, a $500 personal gift card, and a trip to Atlantic City. Their stories will also be featured by Independence and shared throughout the region with our media partners CBS Philadelphia and iHeartRadio.
Nomination process
This is a great opportunity to put a spotlight on your organization and nursing staff. Nominations can come from managers, co-workers, patients, family, and friends. Nurses must work in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware.
- Nominate a nurse at ibx.com/nurses by March 12. It only takes 5-10 minutes to submit a nomination. Be sure to tell us what stands out about your nurse and why they're a perfect fit for this award.
- Promote the campaign internally to encourage employees to nominate a deserving nurse colleague.
Winners will be announced during National Nurses Week, which runs from May 6-12.
