​​New medical policy on external infusion pumps​

​Effective April 10, 2023, Independence Blue Cross will implement a new medical policy on external infusion pumps for Medicare Advantage members.

The following new policy has been developed to continue to communicate our company's coverage criteria for external infusion pumps. The information has been transferred from policy #MA05.053l: Implantable Infusion Pumps to #MA05.060: External Infusion Pumps.
