QIPS is Independence Blue Cross's value-based program for primary care practices. Eligible practices can earn financial incentives for providing quality health care and effectively managing the care of their HMO and PPO members, as well as BlueCard® PPO members. Population Health Specialists (PHS) are assigned to each practice and can assist you in improving QIPS performance and overall patient health outcomes.
The Quality Performance Measure (QPM) score program component of QIPS offers incentives for services provided during the measurement year (January through December of the measurement year, unless otherwise noted) for the measures listed below.
